United Continues Fiber Network Expansion In 3 New Areas Of Marshall County

United Communications continues to expand fiber Internet services to residents of Marshall County. Their most recent fiber overbuild project includes 20 homes along Riverview and Warner Road in Lewisburg, TN, where access high-speed Internet was not previously available. Customers in this area can now subscribe to Internet speeds up to 1 GIG (1,000 mbps).

In addition to growing their fiber-to-the-home network, United Communications continues to make faster Internet speeds available to customers across their service area. Last month, United upgraded nearly 200 additional locations along Holt’s Corner and Powell Lane near Chapel Hill, TN to their UConnect suite of products, offering speeds up to 50 mbps. “Our commitment to our customers and the communities we serve is to deliver the fastest Internet available, to as many residents as possible, as fast as we possibly can over the next several years,” said President and CEO, William Bradford. “We want customers to know that faster speeds and dedicated service is central to United’s mission. We believe that even a company of our size, can make a big impact on economic development by deploying fiber and faster broadband speeds in the communities we serve.”

United Communications continues to work in partnership with local community and business leaders toward the first ever Middle Tennessee Connectivity Summit. The Summit will be held at the Henry Horton State Park, one of the only state parks in the country to have access to Gigabit Internet. The goal of the Connectivity Summit is to discuss ways to enhance local partnerships and speed the delivery of high-speed broadband in the Middle Tennessee region.
