We Care about the social and economic impact that COVID-19 is having on our community, our customers and our employees. United’s mission is to enrich our communities and the lives of our neighbors through reliable connections and passionate service! We strive to keep our community connected during COVID-19 and as part of our commitment, to extend our services to those with special circumstances due to the pandemic. United has earmarked $25,000 toward connecting or upgrading serviceable consumers and businesses in the greatest need. Services associated with this Relief Program are valid until June 30, 2020.
Here’s how we’re supporting our serviceable area.
For Local, Small Business (approximately 25 employees or less):
Hosted PBX Phone service at no cost to new customers or current customers not currently using service, focused on businesses with employees working from remote/home.
An option to include SNAPmobile capabilities at no cost to new customers or customers not currently using feature; allows mobile devices to use the same communication and collaboration tools as being in the office.
For Nonprofit organizations:
Small business offer noted above available to nonprofit organizations.
Free internet service to new residential customers who are teachers or have students with online-learning needs.
Free upgrade to speed/bandwidth for current customers who are teachers or have students with online-learning needs.
