United Communications’ new customer-focused website earns 2024 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development 

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (November 19, 2024) – United Communications announced today that it was recently honored as the winner of the 2024 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development for best telecommunication website. 

As part of the annual award competition, a panel of three or more judges evaluated submitted websites across 86 different industry categories based on the way they fulfill a company’s overall mission, with an emphasis on the creativity and functionality of the site’s interactive experience. 

The Franklin-based fiber broadband provider submitted an entry entitled “Originally aspirational, shifting to inspirational.” It showcased its recent website redesign project to improve visitor access to reliable, up-to-date product information and create easy access to its e-commerce options while highlighting the company’s industry-leading customer satisfaction. 

“Our team has made an outstanding effort to ensure a successful overhaul of our website that reflects our commitment to ‘make it easy’ for our customers to work with United Communications,” said Josh Lynch, Chief Operating Officer at United Communications. “I’m grateful to everyone involved in its redesign and to those who continue to maintain and enhance our digital presence as we expand throughout Middle Tennessee.”

Virtually every major component of the United.net website was included in the recent redesign, including its navigation layout, messaging features, search functionality, and a robust e-commerce platform. Users can toggle between residential and business content and view both English and Spanish versions of the website.

“Making it easy for our customers means minimizing the amount of time they have to spend thinking about their internet service by providing them with the fastest, most reliable connections in Middle Tennessee,” explained BJ Webb, Head of Sales & Marketing at United Communications.
