United Communications is pleased to announce the deployment of fiber-to-the home technology to over 13 new and expanding neighborhoods in Williamson County. United’s most recent fiber expansion includes over 1,000 planned homes in and around the following neighborhoods: The Hideaway, Owl Creek, Burkitt Village, Burkitt Springs, Summerlyn, Sunset Park, Nolen Park, The Farm, Whitney Park, Whittmore, Clovercroft Preserve, Burberry Glen, and Gilchrist.
“This is a continuation of our initiative to bring faster speeds to more residents of Middle Tennessee,” said William Bradford, CEO of United Communications. “We now serve over 40 different neighborhoods in Williamson County with upgraded fiber services and local customer service, added Bradford.”
“Expanding our UniFi (fiber) Internet services in Williamson County will deliver internet speeds up to 1 GIG, digital TV, and phone service to areas being impacted by the population explosion moving south from Nashville”, commented Missy Michaels, United’s Director of Marketing and Customer Engagement. “We know there is a high demand for more bandwidth across the region and we are working hard to deliver fiber service, offering residents broadband access exceeding offerings in many of the larger cities and towns in Tennessee and undoubtedly most of the country.”
