United Adds Deerpoint Area In Unionville To Future Fiber Expansion Plans

United Communications latest project to expand fiber Internet services as part of their Middle Tennessee Connectivity Initiative includes the Deer Point area of Unionville, TN in Bedford County. United completed the first phase of network upgrades required to deliver fiber services to customers late last year and has now established this area as one of the first fiber pre-registration zones in 2017 as part of their new fiber project found at http://fiber.united.net. Once this area reaches an established customer registration goal, United will begin the process of building new state of the art fiber-to-the-home connections to customers. “We encourage residents in these areas to register for fiber services because we want people to know our commitment to delivering fiber service is not just something we talk about, it is something we are working on making a reality for more and more residents in our Middle Tennessee service area every day”, said United President and CEO, William Bradford. “Our commitment to the communities we serve is to continue to deliver access to the products and services they need to live and work in rural communities. Our main objective over the next 3 years is to deliver the fastest Internet available to as many residents and businesses as possible”, commented Bradford.

United continues to work in partnership with local community and business leaders toward solving broadband availability issues in rural communities across the mid-state. For more information on how you can get involved or be a part of the discussion, please email united@united.net.
