United Communications Acquires Fiber Assets of Crystal Clear Technologies to Serve Communities in Williamson and Rutherford Counties.
Franklin, Tenn. – April 22, 2021 – United Communications, a subsidiary of Middle Tennessee Electric and a leading provider of high-speed internet services in Middle Tennessee, is acquiring the fiber network assets of Crystal Clear Technologies. The sale will be effective May 1, 2021 and include the neighborhoods of Tollgate Village, Bridgemore and Canterbury in Williamson County and South Haven and The Preserve in Rutherford County.
These neighborhoods comprise over 1,800 homes and 200 apartments and expand United’s internet coverage with Middle Tennessee Electric’s membership base. With one of the industry’s highest customer satisfaction experiences and reliable, high-speed internet, these customers gain an internet service provider that offers additional features and benefits.
